Waka Flocka Flame incited violence, leading to teens shooting each other, but he's still on the airwaves.
Last night, Waka Flocka Flame held a concert at the World of Skates in Gary, Indiana. During the concert, a fight broke out and the venue was cleared out.
While children were waiting outside to be picked up, someone started shooting and eight teens were injured. The wounded teens were taken to St. Catherine Hospital, Methodist Hospitals and Saint Margaret Mercy in Hammond, Ind, where they were treated for non-life threatening wounds.
But, it has come out that Waka Flocka Flame possibly incited the violence by pitting the East side against the West side against each other.
It’s sad to hear of teens shooting teens, but it’s worse to hear about adults inciting the violence themselves — live and in person.
But, here’s my question: Why haven’t Waka Flocka Flame been pulled off the air?
This “rapper” got some teens to fight and shoot each other, but they are still playing on the radio. Yet, when Chris Brown was ALLEGEDLY accused of beating Rihanna — before the pictures even leaked — he was banned from the radio.
How can this be? Surely, domestic violence is very bad and very wrong, but how can a group of rappers that incited violence — according to the police — still be allowed to play on the radio? There is something seriously wrong with that picture.
It’s amazing that he did that, especially since Waka Flocka himself was recently robbed and shot while at a car wash in Atlanta. But I guess that boosted his desired street cred so he can say he’s a gangsta.
Waka Flocka Flame should be banned from the radio in the same manner as Chris Brown was, because any violence — whether done by the artist(s) or incited — is bad.
But, I guess Waka Flocka Flame gets a pass on this one.
