However, although I'd love to see the Saints go back, I believe the league is setting it up for the Cowboys to represent the NFC. Here's my theory: First off, Jerry Jones is one of the leading contributors to the NFL and it's subsidiaries (NFL Network). The Super Bowl will be in his multi-billion dollar stadium in Arlington, TX. And every single pre-season game for the locals here in Louisiana that came on Fox (for Dish and Direct subscribers) wasn't showing the Saints... Instead, they showed, you guessed it! The Cowboys! Dallas making the Super Bowl and hosting the event will be unprecedented, which will smash any ratings from past years both in attendance and viewing worldwide. This is a perfect sign to cash in on last chance money before the upcoming off-season, which involves the ongoing labor dispute between the NFLPA and NFL Ownership. Since their agreement is at a stalemate, this seemingly booming theory could definitely become a lucrative opportunity for the league to stash some "survival" money just in case of a work stoppage...
