Homecoming spurs many memories and creates new ones. There were many memories for me and many new ones formed. For Homecoming, I rented a car and had two off days, Friday and Saturday to enjoy myself.

Greek Show :  Friday, I hit up the Greek Show, which featured the Alphas, Iotas, Kappas, and Sigmas for the fraternities and the Deltas and Zetas for the sororities.  Every team had their up and down moments, but there could only be one victor in each category.

Game :  It's that time of the year again - Homecoming. The Grambling State University Tigers will face the Mississippi Valley State University Delta Devils. This will not be an interesting matchup. It won't even be fun for the Delta Devils. The Delta Devils have not won in Grambling since forever ago and it doesn't look pleasant for them right now. The only way the Delta Devils could win is if Jerry Rice came back to play.

After falling behind 2 sets to nothing, it seemed as if the Lady Tigers were not going to win against Prairie View. However, digging deep, the Lady Tigers came back and won the match, 3 sets to 2.

Judson resigns from Grambling State University

After five years, GSU President Horace Judson has resigned. Some people celebrated; others panicked. Some took to the streets and went crazy; others stepped back and thought about it. Obama's Peace Prize win full of irony

President Barack Obama has won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. Of course, with Twitter in full tow, people quickly confessed their displeasure, happiness, or "blehness" of the event.

According to MSNBC.com , "[t]he Norwegian Nobel Committee said Obama was honored for 'his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.'"

Prairie View are the eventual SWAC Champs

It was supposed to be Grambling's return to dominance of the SWAC. It was supposed to be Prairie View missing the SWAC Championship by one game -- again -- this season. Instead, the roles have been reversed.

September 11, 2001: I was just walking into my science class when we heard of planes hitting a Twin Tower. We all laughed because we thought it was some kind of joke or a military exercise gone wrong. As soon as I get some faith in hip hop, it vanishes quicker than it came. With coon acts dominating the main stream, I get excited when I hear that Kanye West, Nero , Jay-Z, or other acts get ready to drop songs. They are generally underplayed in my opinion, because the game is littered with coon acts such as Lil' Wayne.

Eminem doesn't battle real hip hop acts...does he?

After hearing "The Warning," Eminem's diss against Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, I was shocked with what I was seeing online. People quickly said that Eminem had not battled a real hip hop act...ever.

After quickly thinking to make sure that I was correct, I was disappointed in the "real" hip hop fans.  I'm beginning to see that the fans have the shortest memories on the block, and it's very disappointing.
